Even if I have the vague feeling that if we put all the pieces of flight, together we have a near complete picture, it is good to finally see a date of Motorola’s official announcement Google Android …In an email sent to journalists in the tech world today (ours is pictured below) told us to “SAVE THE DATE” for September 15 for a London-based event in the evening. The official line was “Unfortunately, we are not able to give more details at present, however, over the coming weeks we will be able to reveal more.

Sure, we can’t imagine the company allowing Pandora but dissing Rhapsody, but stranger things have happened .

Besides Microsoft, no other company has changed the way we use technology more than Google . The company started by two Stanford grad students has revolutionized the way we search for and interact with information. But we don’t have you tell you that, besides the fact that the word Google is officially now a verb in the Merriam-Webster dictionary you probably just came from the actual Google site or one of their many web properties like YouTube or Picasa.

There are a lot of things one can say about the HTC Magic but since most of the people have the attention span of 5 year olds, here’s a snapshot look at the mobile phone. The Look from the Outside The HTC Magic has dropped the G1’s QWERTY keyboard and instead, has an onscreen keyboard much like the Iphone. This move has given it a very smooth finish and has certainly added to its aesthetic appeal. It is definitely thin and is very lightweight.

Google (GOOG) announced today the addition of a My Location traffic information feature to their Google Maps mobile phone application. The Dean thinks this proves that demand leads to innovation and new products will continue to come out in the huge GPS market.GPS-enabled smartphones is where it’s at and $LBAS’ PocketFinder technology is available for the iPhone and Google Android smarthphones.

Nokia has just announced the launch of a netbook in a press release, Nokia Booklet 3G brings all day mobility to the PC world . This means that Nokia anticipates the fabled Apple tablet, always in the press but not announced yet. Nokia netbook is Windows based. In this convergence there is also Google with the announced Google Chrome OS an operating system targeted to netbooks. Simplifying a bit,  Apple is fully integrated, Nokia is expanding vertically in Internet services and horizontally in the netbooks, Google and Microsoft are everywhere there is software.

ASUS was among the first companies to show off a smartbook powered by Google Android but there will not be any move to bring such a device to market…
