After a relatively quiet summer, Wing and Wing are gearing up to present our latest video installation; “Sailing the British Virgin Islands”. Voice control is not what it used to be at one point. Back in the days when it was first introduced as part of mobile phones and other gadgets, it was still in its nascent stages. At that point, it was nothing more than a gimmick. This I can say from first-hand experience with older Nokia phones. The accuracy was nowhere near usable and well, it was not something you would want to rely upon. But in the last one or two years, we have a seen surge of devices that are either partially or fully controlled by voice.

The Palm Pre has been regarded by reviewers and analysts as possibly the best challenger to Apple iPhone but Apple is still ahead. Pre users seem to be not as enthralled with their phone as iPhone users, according to a recent survey which took a closer look at the satisfaction levels of Palm Pre and iPhone users.RBC Capital and ChangeWave Research found that 99 percent of the 200 iPhone3G S users surveyed between were “satisfied” with their phone.

What is the best way to ask developers write apps for Zune HD which is pretty new? Microsoft thinks they can just use their money. An iPhone developer said Microsoft has contacted him. Microsoft will give him lots of money if he promised to write apps for Zune HD. Microsoft probably will grab lots of developers since some of them feel disappointed about Apple’s app rejection thing. Apple, time to rethink.
